Well, y'all's oratory skills are about to be tested. We are all targets at this point. Channel your inner Pericles and get to work.
As for targets, I have no clue. Today we might have to throw out a head scratcher. I'm hoping the Celtic thing gains some steam.

Yeah, I effed up with my list. I was rushing trying to get something in. I think it might not be a bad idea to make a run on runs or dreams. I should be all over the thread tomorrow morning and tomorrow night unless something crazy happens at work. I'm in sales so my schedule changes about everyday. Also, the gf is going to be out of town tomorrow night so I will be able to focus on the game a little better.

No panicking. No rushing.
I woulda bet money Zyke was going to be the first to go. The goal for today is just to keep the lynch off of any of us.
Obviously our mafia kills need to be used on the people that are less suspect. We have to put the hunt for the last special on the back burner and hope poppy was the seer.

The loss of Zeke was big. I chalk that up to the dynamic of the group; we are not properly fulfilling our roles.
Every great crew in history has followed the same basic dynamic. The A-Team did it. Scooby Doo did. The Ghostbusters did it.
Accordingly, Tennessee, you're the brains, LongOdds the muscle, Hillbilly's the looks, and I'm the wild card.
We stick to this format, we should be alright.

Well, yeah, of course I'm the muscle, but I always thought of myself as the looks AND the muscle.

I'm here.
If you're gonna post it, I think we're gonna need disguises.

too helpful? or worth the frame on mahoney?
Time to dig in (sorry if this bores anyone).
First vote for Zyke was Bello at Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:54 am. - At the time, the tally was Spaced 3, Runs 2, Jsun 1, and LO 1. I dont think this is a case of one mafioso throwing out a vote for another, because Bello would have known that Zyke is person that is likely to a vote avalanche. Add to that that Janitor appears to represent the village lynch in the writeup, and I'm thinking Bello is semi-cleared.
Second vote for Zyke was Tears at Tue Dec 15, 2009 3:23 pm. - Confirmed vig, no need to analyze.
Third vote for Zyke was Dreams at Tue Dec 15, 2009 3:51 pm. - At the time, the tally was Mahoney 2, Runs 2, Spaced 1, Jsun 1, blu 1, and LO 1. This is the vote that put Zyke in the lead. At this point, I'd be shocked if Dreams was mafia. She is semi-cleared in my book.
Fourth vote for Zyke was Celtic at Tue Dec 15, 2009 4:03 pm. - At the time, the tally was Mahoney 3, Runs 2, Jsun 1, and blu 1. Runs had created a tie, and this swung the vote back onto Zyke. Doesn't read like a mafia move at all. I'm treating Celtic as semi-cleared.
Fifth vote for Zyke was Mahoney at Tue Dec 15, 2009 4:10 pm. - Same tally as above, except 1 vote came in for Spaced. At the time of this vote, it was kinda easy to see that Zyke was going down. This is the first vote I really question, cause it could easily be a mafia vote planned as a preemptive strike to gain credibility.
Sixth vote for Zyke was Risen at Tue Dec 15, 2009 6:24 pm. - At the time, the tally was Zyke 5, Mahoney 3, Jsun 3, Spaced 3, Celtic 1, and blu 1. This one could go either way in my opinion. Could easily be a villager just voting to spread the gap. Could also be a mafioso sealing the deal for Zyke to be in the small group that had voted for Zyke (specially if none of the prior votes for Zyke were from mafia). Toss up.

I like it all except for Celtic. Some people don't trust him. You semi-vouch for him, that could go a long way.
I'd adjust that.

BTW, for those that read this later and don't follow the exchange above, it basically means we need an Always Sunny in Philadelphia mafia game. Someone get on this!

Not dirtyness, but you got to find a way to address it without highlighting it. Maybe you shouldn't give a rundown of each vote. Ignoring it neither supports or dissuades.
Maybe give a rundown of three of the votes you feel are most important. Let's see how they treat Celtic. Let them do the work. He was at odds with kellly for awhile. Maybe that will stick out to some more than his voting. He should be the one to bring it up, not us.

How about:
Fourth vote for Zyke was Celtic at Tue Dec 15, 2009 4:03 pm. - At the time, the tally was Mahoney 3, Runs 2, Jsun 1, and blu 1. Runs had created a tie, and this swung the vote back onto Zyke. Not sure what Runs had in mind, and it was a little obvious the tie would be short-lived. I don't think this is a mafia move, too risky. Celtic isn't cleared, but he moves back in my list for sure.

Maybe you shouldn't give a rundown of each vote. I thought about that, but partial selection is not my style. I'm usually thorough when I post this type of stuff. The post is meant to make them trust me and see me as an asset (and frame Mahoney). Your suggestion might make it backfire and make me suspicious. I can be suspicious by saying nothing.

Celtic could very well be cleared in everyone's eyes. But Zyke told everyone he would be gone. We could use that to show a mafia scapegoat. He was on a lot of lists before anyone voted. He wasn't active at all. We could try to play up the mafia sacrificing their own ploy.

Better (for me). I don't really know what the village thinks about Celtic. If it is a forgone conclusion he is kosher, either will work.

If it is a forgone conclusion he is kosher, either will work. Dreams posted that she thought ONE of the voters for Zyke was mafia. Em quickly replied that he disagreed. Given the number of options and how close it was, he didnt think any were mafia. We're framing Mahoney. I dont think anyone will buy that 2 of the votes on Zyke were from mafia. So yea, if the believe the dirt on either Mahoney or Risen, they are all going to assume Celtic is cleared anyways.

I think I'm going with the 2nd one. Em knows how I think. His list blatantly stated Celtic was clean. If I come out against him without a better reason, he is going to see right through it.

Yeah. Use your best judgment. I remember cursing Celtic for being so steadfast on Zeke. But alot of players just go with the flow and I was hoping Celtic could be made a scapegoat.
The more I think about it, Celtic is probably clear in their eyes. Your first one is fine.

The other reason I wanted to make that long post was to get them focused on who voted for Zyke. They'd learn a lot more in this case by focusing on who didn't vote for Zyke.

Oh, think there needs to be more of that. You and Hillbill are going to need to talk your way out until the end. The brains and I are going to play some other angles.

Mr. Wildcard, I formally request you keep cool. I know what you mean by angles. I've seen your angles. You're dangerous.
Lets have a steak night (villagers are steak, natch) today.
Tomorrow, maybe you spice it up like I know you can.
